My name is Maya and I am the owner and metalsmith behind Maya Murphy Designs. Nestled in my cozy home studio in Denver, Colorado, I pour love and intention into every piece I make.

 

My journey with jewelry began around eight years ago. Fueled by a lifelong passion for arts and design, I embarked on a journey that led me to pursue a degree in CAD/Metals/Jewelry at the Tyler School of Art in 2014. After honing my skills through apprenticeships with local jewelers in Philadelphia, I branched off to create my own unique pieces.

 

Silver and turquoise hold a special place in my heart, and you'll often find them featured prominently in my work. However, I'm also excited to explore the endless possibilities of different gemstones and metals. My goal? To craft one-of-a-kind, mindfully-made jewelry that's not only beautiful but also destined to become treasured heirlooms passed down through generations.
